I made it to lvl 80! Wrath of The Lich King delivers and Naxxramas 2.0 is the BOMB

Disclaimer: If you are not familiar with World of Warcraft… you will likely not understand the following article.
Last night I reached my final “ding” in World of Warcraft, Wrath of the Lich King. The expansion pack drew my interest from the start and kept me playing. My main character, a Retribution Paladin never dissapointed, I was able to solo 5-6 mobs at a time if I needed to and pvping was a blast.
I made a smart decision and powerleveled my Mining skill up to 375 after I hit lvl 71, it definitely paid off by allowing me to get my epic flying training by the time I was lvl 79. Ores/gems sell quite well on the auction house since everyone and his brother is trying to level their new professions.
Anywho, last night I was fortunate enough to get into a guild raid of Naxxramas, being that this my first trip back to the necropolis since lvl 60 in my “Vanilla” WoW days, I was expecting much of the same… trash that sucks, too much of it, and annoying boss fights. I was surprised to see a very “dumbed down” version of Naxx this time around. The fights were the same, but much MUCH easier. The trash was brain numbingly easy. Loot was… meh lots of leather and druid gear.
I did manage to get a nice trinket off of Loatheb, my first piece of lvl 80 gear. We still have 2 bosses in the DeathKnight wing to kill so that will have to wait till Sunday.
One short comment… it appears we got our FIRST EVER COMMENT! (Outside of ablindmansees who is an author here at The G-Log. The reader’s name is Jeb, so I’d like to extend a big THANK YOU to Jeb contributing to the site! ”high five”
