Greg’s Hangar
Here I will keep pics/descriptions of the planes currently in my hangar:
Extra 330s by Phoenix Models. This is a .60 size plane, I recently installed a YS .91FZ four stroker in it swinging an APC 15×8 Pattern Prop.
This plane has not flown with this new power plant. It was flown twice with a GMS .76 two stroker that has been finiky and forced me into 2 deadstick landings. Thankfully I have “flaperons” programmed in my radio and I managed to land the bird both times without incident.

Next we have what I like to call a “Frankenplane” which is essentially parts from 2 different Duraplanes (flying bricks) put into one. This plane is a combination of a crashed Duraplane Durastik and a Crashed Duraplane Aerobat. The fuse/gear is from the Stik and the Tail/wing is from the Aerobat. I converted it to a Taildragger (much cooler!). It has the infamous GMS .76 on it (not trusting this engine to a Balsa airframe anymore).

Here is my (now destroyed) Great Planes Extra 300sp (the GMS .76 did this one in). Crashed on the second flight due to a deadstick and poor wind conditions. (A tree jumped out and grabbed it).
