Currently I am using 2 different radios:

1. Futaba 7C 2.4ghz FASST

I snagged this radio from Tower + 4 Futaba S3152 Digital high torque servos last week.

I replaced the dual elevator/aileron servos with these sweet Digital units.

Programming was easy as pie.  I have it setup with “Flaperons” and “Ailevons”.

2.4 Ghz is currently the best type of radio from all the reviews I’ve read. This radio will get its maiden flight test this weekend pending on weather.

2. Next we have a Tower Hobbies 6XM (Rebranded Futaba 6EX).

This is the FM version of Futaba’s 6EX that has been rebranded by Tower.  Its a good basic computer radio, I found the programming to be fairly easy, the uses the old style 7 segment LCD to get information to the user, aesthetically the radio isnt all that grand but functionality and range wise its not bad, especially considering you can get one with 4 standard servos for ~160.00 at Tower.
