R/C Engines
My experience with R/C engines is limited, but I consider myself good with these little machines.
Right now My collection includes 3 engines.
1. GMS .76 Two Stroke

This engine is powerful, very powerful. I ran it with both a 12×6 and 13×6 APC prop. I have not had the best of luck with tuning this bad boy. It has crashed and destroyed 2 planes and deadsticked on the first two flights of my latest Extra 330s. Its a cheap engine at only 99.00 at Tower. I will only be using this engine on Duraplanes from now on.
2. YS .91FZ Four Stroke

This big mother is currently mounted in my Phoenix Models Extra 330s .60 size. It has an APC 15×8 mounted. I test ran it and its an absolute monster of an engine, it throws so much thrust I’m amazed I was able to hold on to the fuse! Hopefully I get to fly this badboy soon!
3. Thunder Tiger Pro .46.

I can’t say enough good about this engine. This is a trusty workhorse of an engine. My dad bought this about 6 years ago and we have had it mounted in 3 different Duraplanes. Right now its sitting in oil waiting to be installed in my next .40 size project, a Phoenix Models Super Decathalon!
